Sardar 2 Joins the Disappointing Sequel List?

Sequels have always carried huge expectations in the South Indian film industry, especially when the original movie has been successful. Films such as Baahubali and Pushpa have taken the sequel trend to another level, making audiences more curious about subsequent instalments. Sardar 2, starring Karthi and directed by P.S. Mithran, is the sequel to Sardar, which was released four years ago. Earlier sequels such as Kick 2, Nagavalli, Sardar Gabbar Singh, Vishwaroopam, Saamy and Indian also disappointed sections of the audience.
