Ram experiments for the first time as writer, director, and actor

Actor Ram Pothineni is set to take a major leap in his career as he prepares to direct his first film while also playing the lead role. The project, currently titled ‘RAPO23’, has already been officially announced and is generating significant buzz in the industry. Ram has reportedly penned the story himself, marking his debut as a writer-director. Meanwhile, the makers are actively searching for a suitable heroine. Initially, Srinidhi Shetty was considered for the role, but reports suggest that her remuneration demand of around ₹1.5 crore led the team to look for other options.

Following this, Kayadu Lohar is said to be under consideration, with Samyuktha Menon emerging as an alternative choice if schedules do not align. Ram is reportedly planning a two-day demo shoot this month to test his vision. If satisfied, the team aims to begin regular shooting in Goa, where location scouting is already underway. With meticulous planning and a fresh approach, Ram Pothineni appears ready to make a strong mark with his directorial debut.
