Raka: These Two Music Directors Were Considered Before Sai Abhyankkar!

Icon Star Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s upcoming film Raka is being mounted as a large-scale project with a global subject and ambitious visual presentation. Young composer Sai Abhyankkar is composing the music for the film, and his selection had reportedly come as a surprise to many. Since Atlee has previously worked closely with Anirudh, there was considerable expectation that the duo would collaborate again for Raka.

Atlee has reportedly revealed that before finalising Sai Abhyankkar, he had considered working with either GV Prakash Kumar or Anirudh for the project. According to the filmmaker, producer Maran suggested Sai Abhyankkar’s name during their discussions. The suggestion eventually led to Sai joining the project. With Raka being planned on a large scale, Sai Abhyankkar’s involvement has now become another interesting aspect of the highly anticipated film.
