K. Raghavendra Rao, a veteran filmmaker in Tollywood, is once again facing criticism on social media over his behavior at a recent film launch event in Hyderabad. The director, who has been subjected to trolling in recent months, drew fresh backlash after a video surfaced showing him interacting with actresses Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty during the muhurat shot of a new project. The film stars Venkatesh Daggubati and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, and is directed by Anil Ravipudi.
During the shoot, Raghavendra Rao was seen holding the hands of the actresses while explaining the scene, which did not go well with netizens. Many users expressed anger, stating that such physical interaction was unnecessary and inappropriate, especially if it made the actresses uncomfortable. The video quickly went viral, triggering widespread criticism and trolling online, with several questioning the need for such gestures when instructions could have been conveyed without physical contact.
