Director Siva Nirvana, known for films such as ‘Ninnu Kori’, ‘Majili’, ‘Tuck Jagadish’ and ‘Kushi’, has now come up with ‘Irumudi’, starring Ravi Teja. Following the film’s release, the director has been interacting with the media and sharing interesting insights about the industry. Speaking about the changing approach of heroes towards film selection, Siva Nirvana said that actors are now more willing to experiment if a story has enough substance. He cited Ram Charan’s success with a film like ‘Rangasthalam’ as an example of how star heroes have become more open to diverse subjects.
Siva Nirvana also mentioned Akhil’s ‘Lenin’ as another example of an actor choosing a different story. He said he regularly interacts with actors such as Nani, Naga Chaitanya and Vijay Deverakonda, who are all interested in exploring fresh concepts and innovative narratives. According to him, heroes today are not imposing too many conditions on directors. They are no longer insisting on unnecessary hero elevation scenes or additional commercial elements, but are primarily looking for strong stories and engaging screenplays. He believes this shift is encouraging filmmakers to explore more diverse subjects.
