Mahakali Release Date Announced..

Director Prasanth Varma, who created a nationwide sensation with Hanu-Man, is expanding his Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe with several ambitious projects. Along with Jai Hanuman, he is also working on Mahakali, which is expected to have a special place in the cinematic universe.

Mahakali is being presented as a female superhero film inspired by the power of Goddess Kali. The makers have already generated significant interest with the film’s posters, while Prasanth Varma has been teasing fans with regular updates. The mass glimpse of Mahakali is scheduled to be released on August 24.

The director has now announced that Mahakali will arrive in theatres on January 8, 2027, as part of the Sankranthi season. A special teaser was also screened for the media after a morning show of Ravi Teja’s Irumudi. The teaser reportedly features powerful visuals and an intriguing concept, further increasing curiosity around the project.
