Known for his deep voice and distinctive performances, Kollywood actor Arjun Das is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Once More’. After making a mark in villainous and character roles, the actor is now busy with a series of projects as a lead. Directed by Vignesh Srikanth and starring Aditi Shankar as the female lead, the romantic drama features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and is scheduled to hit theatres on August 28. During the promotions, Arjun Das opened up about his career journey, revealing that he was initially offered mostly negative roles. He said he turned down several opportunities because he wanted to explore different characters, a process that took some time. He later landed an opportunity to act in ‘Good Bad Ugly’.
Arjun Das also spoke about his special connection with actor Ajith Kumar. He recalled that he had once worked as an ordinary employee for Ajith and now getting an opportunity to play a villain opposite him is one of the greatest honours of his life. He also addressed how audiences perceive him after watching his serious character in ‘Khaidi’. According to the actor, many people assume that he is equally serious in real life, but he said people can understand his actual personality only when they meet him personally. He added that if people form assumptions about his real-life personality based on his film roles, there is little he can do about it.
