‘Mahashakti’ Trailer Out: Nayanthara in a Divine Avatar!

Lady Superstar Nayanthara is set to headline Mookuthi Amman 2, directed by Sundar C. The film is reportedly scheduled to release in theatres on November 6 under the Telugu title Mahashakti. The makers have recently unveiled the trailer, offering a glimpse of the film’s grand visual presentation. While the first instalment was directed by RJ Balaji, the sequel appears to take a more ambitious approach, featuring elaborate visual effects, extensive graphics and a powerful background score.

Based on the trailer, the story appears to revolve around a village and a family facing a major crisis, with the divine intervention of the goddess becoming central to their rescue. The film follows a familiar saviour narrative, presenting a powerful divine force protecting people in distress. However, some viewers have criticised the quality of the visual effects shown in the trailer. With expectations building ahead of its theatrical release, audiences will be watching closely to see whether Nayanthara’s latest outing delivers at the box office.
