Keerthy Suresh’s Emotional Comments on Dorothy

Kollywood star Keerthy Suresh is set to entertain audiences with another intriguing project, ‘Dorothy’, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film marks the director’s 10th project and has already created significant expectations. Set against a rural backdrop, this period drama will feature Keerthy Suresh in a never before seen and distinctive avatar. Produced jointly by Shikya Entertainment and Jio Studios, the film has music by maestro Ilaiyaraaja and is scheduled to release in theatres on September 25. At a recent promotional event, Keerthy opened up about her experience of working on the film.

Keerthy revealed that Karthik Subbaraj had sent her the story outline, and she immediately liked it and agreed to be part of the project without a second thought. She said she feels proud to be part of the film and described the entire experience as a learning process. Keerthy added that she learned a lot from Karthik during the shoot and gained an experience that she will cherish throughout her career. Speaking about the title, she explained that ‘Dorothy’ means “a gift from God” and expressed confidence that the film would feel like a divine gift to audiences and connect with them in theatres.
