Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, known for portraying powerful and unconventional roles that reflect real-life issues, is set to appear in another compelling project. After last year’s film ‘Emergency’, her upcoming movie titled ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ (working title) is currently under production. Directed by Manoj Tapadia, the film is reportedly inspired by real-life events, and Kangana will be seen playing the role of a nurse.
The film is based on incidents that took place in a hospital during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. It will depict how hospital staff bravely evacuated patients to safer locations while terrorists had taken control of the premises. The courage and dedication shown by the medical staff serve as the core inspiration for the film. Marathi actress Girija Oak is also playing a key role in the project. According to reports from Bollywood sources, the film is currently in the post-production stage.
