Jason Sanjay Reveals Why He Chose Filmmaking

Jason Sanjay, the son of Kollywood superstar Vijay, is making his directorial debut with the action-adventure comedy Sigma, starring Sandeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film has already generated curiosity, with Jason stepping behind the camera instead of choosing an acting career like his father.

During the film’s promotions, Jason shared that becoming a filmmaker was not his first career dream. He said he initially wanted to become a pilot and later hoped to pursue cricket professionally. However, his interest in cinema grew during his higher secondary education, and by the time he entered college, he had decided that filmmaking was the career he wanted to pursue.
