

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed deep sorrow over the demise of acclaimed filmmaker Bharathiraja. Extending his condolences to the bereaved family, he prayed for the eternal peace of the veteran director’s soul. Pawan Kalyan noted that Bharathiraja left an indelible mark on both Tamil and Telugu cinema through his distinctive storytelling style.
He praised Bharathiraja for portraying rural life, human emotions, romance and relationships with remarkable authenticity. Recalling the director’s Telugu classic ‘Seethakoka Chiluka’, Pawan Kalyan said the film continues to be cherished by audiences even today. He also highlighted Bharathiraja’s versatility through memorable films such as ‘Aaradhana’, ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ and ‘Tik Tik Tik’, which showcased his brilliance across different genres.
