Sigma is an upcoming high-voltage action thriller that marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil star Vijay. The film stars Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles and has completed its shooting. It is scheduled to reach theatres on October 2, 2026, creating curiosity among audiences.

Speaking at a recent event, Sundeep Kishan recalled an interesting incident that took place when he attended the pooja ceremony of Vijay’s Leo. Sundeep said Lokesh Kanagaraj invited him to the set, where Vijay spoke to him and mentioned that he had watched Maanagaram and some of Sundeep’s other films and enjoyed his performances. Vijay also reportedly told him that his son Jason Sanjay was a fan of his work. Sundeep recalled that Lokesh immediately advised him not to reveal the conversation publicly because it could invite trolling. He said he had kept the memory private at the time, but is now happy to share the memorable moment with audiences.
