Victory Venkatesh and director Trivikram Srinivas are coming together for the family entertainer Aadarsha Kutumbam, which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 30. At the film’s grand pre-release event, a moment involving Trivikram and actress Srinidhi Shetty caught everyone’s attention. The director appeared to bend down and touch the actress’s feet, sparking widespread discussion and trolling on social media. Some users questioned the gesture, pointing out the age difference between the two and wondering why an established filmmaker would do so.
As the incident became a talking point online, Trivikram recently offered an explanation. He said the gesture was purely playful and stemmed from the close friendship and comfortable rapport he shares with Srinidhi Shetty. He described her as one of the actresses who has grown particularly close to his family, adding that she is friendly and easily blends in with everyone on the sets. According to him, pretending to touch her feet was simply a playful way of teasing a close friend, with no other intention behind it. His clarification has addressed the speculation surrounding the incident.
