Director Clarifies the Sequel Plans for ‘OM’

Dhanush and Mammootty’s upcoming action drama OM is scheduled to hit theatres on November 20, 2026. The film is being directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, who shot to fame with Amaran. The project has already generated considerable buzz, with its promotional content receiving a strong response. Although the makers had earlier announced OM as a two-part project, the director has now clarified that the two films will have no connection with each other. According to him, the story will reach its conclusion in the first film itself.

Rajkumar Periasamy also clarified that OM is not a bilingual film. However, he said Tamil and Telugu audiences would experience it as a straight film in their respective languages. Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela play important roles in the action drama. The film is being jointly produced by Wunderbar Films and RTake Studios, while the music is composed by rising sensation Sai Abhyankkar. With its star cast and promotional buzz, OM is one of the films generating interest among audiences.
