GHMC has issued notices to Annapurna Studios and Ramanaidu Studios, owned by star actors Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. During inspections, officials found that both studios had been paying significantly lower trade licence fees than required. Authorities stated that the studios underreported their business area and allegedly evaded substantial taxes.
According to the notice, Annapurna Studios was required to pay Rs 11.52 lakh but had paid only Rs 49,000.
