Dhee Fame Srishti Varma Enters Politics

Popular Tollywood dance choreographer and ‘Dhee’ dance reality show fame Srishti Varma has entered politics by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She formally joined the party at an event held at the Telangana BJP state office in Hyderabad on Monday. Party leader Ramachandra Rao welcomed her by draping a saffron scarf around her. Several youngsters and artists also joined the party along with her. Rao urged more young people to enter politics and work for the welfare of society.

Reacting to her political entry, Srishti Varma said she decided to join the BJP with the intention of serving society, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and vision. She said she considers her party membership not merely as an affiliation but as a responsibility. Srishti gained recognition through the ‘Dhee’ dance reality show and later worked as an assistant choreographer in films. She has now begun a new journey in politics.
