‘D.C’ Success Brings a Surprise for the Film Team

Producer Kalanithi Maran showered praise on the team of ‘D.C.’ following the film’s blockbuster success. He congratulated director Lokesh Kanagaraj, music composer Anirudh and director Arun Matheswaran, and surprised them by gifting brand-new BMW cars. He personally handed over the car keys and shared his happiness with the team. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film was directed by Arun Matheswaran, while Lokesh Kanagaraj made his acting debut as the lead. Wamiqa Gabbi played the female lead, with Anirudh composing the music.

‘D.C.’ arrived in theatres without much hype but went on to become a major success, making a strong impact at the box office. The film crossed the ₹100-crore mark in collections. It is currently streaming on Sun NXT from the 4th of this month.
