Dasari Awards Held Grandly in the Presence of Film Celebrities

The prestigious “Dasari Legendary Awards” were held with great grandeur to mark the 79th birth anniversary of legendary filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao. The event, organized annually by noted producer Tummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana in his memory, took place at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. Several eminent personalities, including actor and former MP Murali Mohan, senior actress Roja Ramani, actor Suman, director Relangi Narasimha Rao, producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Directors’ Association President V. N. Aditya, and Doordarshan Director Kameshwari graced the occasion as chief guests.

Awards were presented to talented individuals who excelled in various departments of Tollywood during 2025–26. Notable awardees included directors Boyapati Srinu and P. N. Ramachandra Rao, Sushmita Konidela, Sahu Garapati, actress Laya, filmmaker Gunasekhar, actor Shivaji, writers and journalists, choreographer Aata Sandeep, and director Manasa Sharma among others, recognizing their significant contributions to the industry.
