Casting Couch Harassment at Such a Young Age.. Ankita Lokhande!

Bollywood actress Ankita Lokhande has spoken about an alleged casting couch experience from the early stage of her career. Recalling the incident, Ankita said she was only 19 when she entered the industry with dreams of becoming an actress. After an audition, she was reportedly told that she had been selected and was asked to come to an office to sign a contract. Excited about the opportunity, she immediately shared the news with her mother.

According to Ankita’s account, her coordinator was asked to remain outside while she was called inside alone. She said she was then asked to “compromise” in exchange for the opportunity. When she sought clarification, she alleged that she was directly told she would have to sleep with the producer. Ankita said she immediately rejected the demand, confronted those involved and walked out. She recalled deciding that she would not allow anyone in the industry to make such a demand of her. Her comments have since drawn widespread support from netizens.
