

The upcoming film ‘Ramayana’, inspired by India's timeless epic, has officially begun its global journey with the grand ‘Pratham Sankalp’ event held in New Delhi. Produced by Namit Malhotra and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film aims to present Indian culture and heritage to international audiences through world-class filmmaking and cutting-edge visual technology. The makers described the project as one of the most ambitious cinematic ventures in Indian cinema.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana, who is also co-producing the project under Monster Mind Creations. Sunny Deol plays Hanuman, while Arun Govil and Shobana portray Dasharatha and Kaikeyi, respectively. Academy Award winners Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman are composing the music, while DNEG and Prime Focus Studios are handling the visual effects. The official trailer will be released on July 24, and Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release during Diwali.
