Aneet Padda Takes the Lead with ‘Shakti Shalini’

Bollywood actress Aneet Padda, who gained popularity with her debut film ‘Saiyaara’, is gearing up to entertain audiences with the female-centric horror film ‘Shakti Shalini’. In a recent interview, the actress said she wanted to stay away from romantic films after ‘Saiyaara’ and explore a different kind of role. She considers the opportunity to star in a supernatural thriller a fortunate one, as it will showcase a new side of her acting abilities.

Aneet revealed that she had always wanted to headline a film and proudly call it her own. She is happy to have received such an opportunity with her second film itself. However, she admitted that carrying the entire responsibility of a movie on her shoulders feels a little frightening. She added that she is ready to take responsibility for the film’s outcome, whatever the result may be.
