A Decade of the Rowdy Star

Vijay Deverakonda has completed a remarkable 10 years as a lead actor in Telugu cinema. His journey as a solo hero began with 'Pelli Choopulu', released in 2016, which turned out to be a blockbuster and established him as one of Tollywood's most promising young stars. He later strengthened his stardom with successful films such as Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindam, Taxiwaala, Kushi, Family Star, and Kingdom. Vijay also impressed audiences with his special appearance as Arjuna in Kalki. Rising without a film background, his journey has become an inspiration for aspiring actors across the country.

Beyond films, Vijay has earned appreciation for his philanthropic efforts through The Deverakonda Foundation, supporting students and middle-class families. Recently, he awarded scholarships to 180 deserving students in Mahabubnagar district. He is currently working on Rowdy Janardhan, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, Ranabali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, and another ambitious project with director Shouryuv. Industry insiders believe these upcoming films will further elevate his pan-India stature.
