Akkineni Akhil entered the film industry years ago, but his debut film Akhil failed to meet expectations. Despite acting in multiple films, he struggled to achieve a solid commercial hit. After taking a brief break, he returned with Lenin, which released on July 10 and received a positive response from audiences. The film has also performed well at the box office, generating impressive collections and already securing significant profits.
In recent times, the ₹100 crore gross mark has become a key benchmark for medium-range heroes. Fans hoped Lenin would help Akhil enter this elite club, and even producer Naga Vamsi expressed similar expectations during the success event. However, current trends suggest that reaching the ₹100 crore milestone may be difficult. The film has collected ₹38.31 crore share and ₹71.10 crore gross worldwide in 18 days. With a break-even target of ₹22 crore, it has already earned ₹16.31 crore in profits. Still, trade analysts believe the ₹100 crore mark remains out of reach, making its final box office total an interesting point of discussion.
