So Many Unique Features in Anirudh–Kavya Maran’s Wedding Invitation?

Following the release of Jailer 2, producer Kalanithi Maran reportedly announced the wedding of music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Sunrisers Hyderabad co-owner Kavya Maran. Now, their wedding reception invitation is attracting attention on social media for its elaborate craftsmanship and luxurious presentation. Designed by Ranjani Iyengar of Pink Whistle Man, the invitation comes in a hand-carved wooden box featuring around 10–12 individual carvings and hours of detailed hand-painting. The box opens like a jewellery case and contains embossed stationery, a vintage-style crest seal, blue silk ribbons and wax seals, creating a distinctive, premium look.

The invitation package also includes matching bags and gifts such as dry fruits and chocolates. According to reports, the materials were sourced from different places, and some are now difficult to obtain. The designer has reportedly said that the box cannot be replicated, explaining that the team experimented with different hinges and materials before finalising the design. Each box is said to cost approximately ₹15,000–₹20,000, and videos showcasing the invitation are going viral online. The wedding is reportedly scheduled to take place in Greece on November 10 or 11, 2026, while the reception is expected to be held in Chennai on November 21. Several celebrities have reportedly received invitations.
