Several Indian films are increasingly looking beyond the domestic market and targeting audiences across the world. Kannada star Yash’s Toxic has already attracted attention for being made simultaneously in Kannada and English, along with its association with Lionsgate. Similarly, the upcoming Ramayana, which is also being produced by Yash, has reportedly partnered with Sony Pictures International Productions. These developments have added to the growing focus on global collaborations in Indian cinema.
According to the latest industry buzz, Allu Arjun’s upcoming project Raka is also expected to follow a similar path. The film is reportedly in discussions for a major international collaboration that could help expand its reach in overseas markets. However, it is not yet clear whether the proposed partnership is related to international distribution, production or another aspect of the project. There have also been long-standing rumours that Hollywood star Will Smith could appear in the film, but there is currently no official confirmation regarding his involvement. The makers are expected to provide clarity on the international partnership and cast details through an official announcement.
