Bollywood actress Radhika Apte is once again making headlines, this time for her comments about an earlier Telugu film. Apart from Hindi cinema, she has also acted in Telugu movies, including Legend and Lion, alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna, earning recognition among Telugu audiences. However, with fewer opportunities in Telugu cinema, she later focused on Bollywood and continued working on several projects. Recently, she appeared in the web series Akkka. During its promotional interactions, some of her remarks about a Telugu film reportedly created a controversy. She recalled having to perform romantic scenes with an actor who was considerably older than her.
Radhika also claimed that the film's storyline included scenes in which her character was required to marry her own uncle and that her character was eventually killed midway through the movie. Although she did not directly mention the film or the actor's name, her description has led many people to link her comments to Legend, in which she starred opposite Balakrishna. Videos of her remarks have been circulating on social media, with some fans expressing strong objections. Critics have questioned her decision to speak about the film after several years, while others are discussing the context of her statements. The issue has now become a topic of debate among Telugu film fans.
