It’s well known that Vishwambhara, which has been in production for nearly two years, has gone through multiple release date changes and is now finally aiming for release next year. Even after the official postponement announcement, months have passed, and the team has gone completely silent since then. Although director Vassishta has been seen attending public events, he hasn’t revealed any updates about this mega movie. UV Creations, which cited visual effects and post-production delays as reasons for the postponement, now faces a huge challenge to bring back the completely cooled-down buzz surrounding the film.
It’s natural for fans to wonder what’s happening with Vishwambhara now. According to inside sources, the film’s work has been temporarily paused. With Chiranjeevi busy wrapping up Shankar Varaprasad, the team reportedly decided to resume Vishwambhara promotions only after that film’s release. A small crew is occasionally scheduling sessions to supervise the VFX work. After new companies took over the graphics work, this team is handling the quality checks before giving final approval which is taking more time than expected.
On the bright side, the shooting of Vishwambhara is already complete, which is its biggest advantage. If Shankar Varaprasad turns out to be a blockbuster, that success could positively influence Vishwambhara’s buzz. However, if the makers take promotions lightly, it could be risky as everyone saw what happened with Hari Hara Veera Mallu. To avoid a similar fate, the Vishwambhara team must revamp their publicity strategy. The film must make its presence felt between January and March, before Peddhi dominates the buzz and Ustaad Bhagat Singh grabs the spotlight. Otherwise, Vishwambhara might struggle to regain attention.
