Kamal Haasan’s Indian 3 is back in the spotlight after reports emerged that the film may soon arrive in theatres. According to reports circulating in Tamil film circles, director Shankar requested 25 days of additional shooting to film extra footage, but Lyca Productions reportedly rejected the proposal. The production house is said to have asked the director to prepare the final cut using the footage already available.
The buzz suggests that the makers believe the existing footage is sufficient and that further investment in the third instalment may not be necessary. These reports have sparked discussions among fans, especially following the poor box-office performance of Indian 2. However, the production house has not officially confirmed these claims, leaving the film’s final version and release plans a topic of speculation.
