Tollywood star actress Sai Pallavi is once again in the news with discussions about two major biopic projects. Biographical films are becoming very popular in the film industry and her name is now being linked with some prestigious projects. Reports suggest that she may be considered for a film based on the life of legendary Indian classical singer M. S. Subbulakshmi. At the same time, her name is also being discussed for another legendary actress’s biopic.
The life story of iconic Hindi cinema actress Madhubala, who ruled Bollywood in the 1950s and 1960s, has been planned as a film for a long time. Known as the “Venus of Indian Cinema”, Madhubala won millions of hearts with her beauty and acting. Her role as Anarkali in Mughal-e-Azam remains one of the most memorable performances in Indian film history. Reports say the film could be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by Jasmeet K. Reen. Sai Pallavi’s natural acting style and graceful screen presence are believed to suit the role well, though her busy schedule may affect her availability.
Meanwhile, a biopic on M. S. Subbulakshmi is also being planned. It is said that Geetha Arts may produce the project, with producer Bunny Vasu leading it and Gowtam Tinnanuri likely to direct it. The script work is reportedly in progress. At present, Sai Pallavi is also working in Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari, where she plays Sita. She is also acting in the Bollywood film Ek Din alongside Junaid Khan. Although there is no official confirmation yet about these biopics, fans are excited to see if she will portray these legendary personalities on screen.
