Warangal Airport Should Have a Name That Reflects Its History - Vijay

As plans for a new international airport in Warangal move forward, actor Vijay Deverakonda suggested that the facility should be named after a prominent figure or legacy associated with the region. He said powerful places deserve powerful names rooted in the history and heritage of their land. Vijay also appreciated suggestions made by his local friend Sandeep.

Vijay proposed “Rudramadevi International Airport” and “Kakatiya International Airport” as possible names for the new facility, saying they would remind people of the rich history of Orugallu. He thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for the initiative and expressed his hope of seeing a grand new airport take shape in Warangal.
