Vijay's Wife Withdraws Divorce Petition

A major development has emerged in the divorce case involving Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and his wife, Sangeetha. Sangeetha has withdrawn the divorce petition she had filed against Vijay. Appearing before the Chengalpattu District Court through video conferencing, she explained the reasons for not pursuing the case further.

Following her submission, the court officially closed the case. Sangeetha had filed the divorce petition in February, making several allegations against Vijay. As both parties had failed to appear during earlier hearings, the court had postponed the proceedings multiple times before continuing the hearings through video conferencing. Vijay and Sangeetha were married on August 25, 1999, and have a son and a daughter.
