Vijaya Lakshmi Seeks CBI Probe Into Saikrishna Missing Case

A reply affidavit has been filed before the Andhra Pradesh High Court by the counsel representing Vijayalakshmi in the Saikrishna missing case. The counsel sought the transfer of the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), stating that there are doubts over the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to probe the case.

Vijayalakshmi’s counsel raised concerns over the manner in which the investigation into Saikrishna’s disappearance is being conducted. The counsel submitted that a CBI probe would help bring the facts of the case to light and sought appropriate directions from the High Court. The matter is expected to come up for further hearing before the court.
