

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met US Ambassador Sergio Gor in New Delhi for a high-level discussion aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in education, investments, technology, research, and employment. The meeting lasted for more than 30 minutes, during which the Chief Minister highlighted Telangana's growing potential as a destination for global investments and innovation. He requested greater support for students from Telangana pursuing higher education in the United States by increasing visa appointments, expanding interview slots, and ensuring faster processing of visa applications.
Revanth Reddy also raised concerns regarding H-1B visa processing, renewals, and visa stamping delays, urging the US administration to simplify procedures and provide advance information on policy changes. He discussed the welfare and safety of Telangana students and professionals living in the United States and invited American companies to explore investment opportunities in Telangana's IT, Artificial Intelligence, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Startups, Research, and Advanced Technology sectors. He also sought stronger academic partnerships between US universities and Telangana institutions to promote student exchange, research, innovation, and skill development. Ambassador Sergio Gor assured full cooperation in expanding trade, investments, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people ties between Telangana and the United States.
