

Actor R. Madhavan has shared his views on the political developments in Tamil Nadu, expressing optimism about the changes taking place under Chief Minister Vijay's leadership. Speaking in a recent interview, Madhavan said he has known Vijay for many years and considers him a close friend. He added that he now respectfully addresses him as “CM Vijay” and believes the state is witnessing positive transformation. At the same time, he observed that politics is a challenging field where leaders are criticised for both their successes and failures.
Madhavan also made it clear that he has no intention of entering politics. He said public service requires a genuine commitment to serving people and leading society, adding that he does not aspire to become a Chief Minister. Instead, he prefers contributing to society through his profession. The actor is currently preparing for the release of 'G.D.N', a biographical film based on the life of industrialist Gopalswamy Doraiswamy Naidu.
