The Andhra Pradesh government has assured full support to unemployed youth who were duped with fake job offers in Bangkok and are now stranded in Myanmar. State Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, directed AP Bhavan officials to take immediate steps to ensure the safe return of the victims to their hometowns. He emphasized that the government is committed to bringing them back securely.
Lokesh urged the youth to remain cautious and not fall prey to cyber criminals who lure victims with fraudulent overseas job opportunities. He appealed for greater awareness about cyber crimes and stressed the importance of vigilance to prevent such incidents in the future. The government, he said, will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of affected individuals.
