Sonam Wangchuk's Message to Students

Education reformer and social activist Sonam Wangchuk has appealed to students and young people to continue their protests through peaceful and non-violent means. Expressing concern over the recent incidents of violence in Delhi, he urged protesters not to resort to aggression under any circumstances. Wangchuk stressed that peaceful democratic movements are the most effective way to bring about meaningful change.

He also cautioned students against attempts by others to provoke or incite violence during demonstrations. Emphasising that peace and non-violence remain his guiding principles, Wangchuk called on the youth to remain calm, disciplined, and responsible throughout the movement. He said maintaining non-violent protests would strengthen the credibility and purpose of their campaign.
