Global energy markets have been impacted by rising tensions in West Asia, and the effects are being felt in India as well. The central government has sharply increased the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder, affecting hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and other businesses that rely on it.
With the latest hike, the commercial LPG cylinder price in Hyderabad has reached Rs. 3,315. Prices have also increased in cities like Delhi and Mumbai. Officials attribute the rise to higher crude oil prices, supply disruptions, and ongoing geopolitical tensions in West Asia. This marks the third price hike in recent months.
