Revanth Reddy Meets Prince Rahim Aga Khan V

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a courtesy meeting with Prince Rahim Aga Khan V at Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. Minister Azharuddin, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, CM Advisor Ramakrishna Rao and senior government officials attended the meeting. Revanth Reddy expressed his appreciation for the Aga Khan Foundation’s contribution to preserving and restoring Telangana’s heritage. He highlighted its role in restoring the Legislative Council building and the Qutb Shahi Tombs. The Chief Minister said the government is planning the rejuvenation of the Musi River and sought the foundation’s support in restoring heritage structures such as City College and Osmania General Hospital along the Musi riverfront.

Revanth Reddy said a new Osmania General Hospital building is being constructed at Goshamahal, while the existing hospital building is proposed to be preserved as a heritage structure. He also said the Musi River would be developed to support Hyderabad’s night economy. The Chief Minister invited Prince Rahim Aga Khan V to attend the Telangana Global Summit scheduled to be held at Future City from December 7 to 9. He said representatives from more than 100 countries are expected to participate and outlined the government’s goal of increasing Telangana’s contribution to India’s GDP to 10% by 2047. He added that Future City is being developed as a net-zero city, with a major green zone, and that companies such as Amazon have already begun operations there.
