Revanth Reddy Extends Support to Kedari Couple’s Family

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to provide ₹10 lakh financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the family of late Lingala Kedari and his wife, late Pushpalatha, in recognition of their dedicated service during the Telangana statehood movement. The couple ran a modest hotel in Hanamkonda and provided free food, breakfast and tea to students and activists during the movement. They also created awareness about avoiding food wastage.

Lingala Kedari, a resident of Shantinagar and Postal Colony in Hanamkonda, died on September 9, while his wife Pushpalatha died on September 10. Following the Chief Minister’s directions, the CM’s OSD sanctioned ₹10 lakh from the CMRF for the family. The Hanamkonda Collector has been instructed to ensure that the sanctioned assistance reaches the eligible legal heirs and family members.
