Revanth Orders Tight Vigil for Police Recruitment Exams

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has instructed senior police and administrative officials to ensure a transparent and foolproof recruitment process for the 7,437 police vacancies recently notified by the state. The directions came after intelligence agencies alerted the government about alleged attempts by certain political groups and vested interests to disrupt the recruitment process. An emergency review meeting was held with DGP C.V. Anand and other top officials to assess security arrangements.

The Chief Minister directed officials to maintain strict vigilance over every stage of the recruitment process, including question paper preparation, printing, transportation and examination centre security. He also ordered enhanced monitoring of coaching centres, fake recruitment agents, fraudulent websites and misleading social media campaigns. Cyber Crime, Intelligence and other security agencies have been asked to remain on high alert until the recruitment process is completed.
