Restrictions on Ganesh Immersion at Tank Bund

Prohibition boards warning against the immersion of Ganesh idols have been installed at Tank Bund in Hyderabad. Officials said the boards were placed from the Indira Gandhi statue to the Amaraveerula Stupam on NTR Marg following the Telangana High Court’s directions. The restrictions have drawn attention among devotees as immersion arrangements are also underway in the area.

The police and GHMC have also put up awareness boards indicating restrictions on the immersion of Plaster of Paris idols in Hussain Sagar. Meanwhile, arrangements including platforms and cranes are being made along Necklace Road to facilitate the immersion process. Similar prohibition notices were also displayed at Tank Bund in previous years.
