Red Alert Issued for Several Districts in Andhra Pradesh!

The Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Authority Managing Director Prakhar Jain has issued an alert predicting moderate rains accompanied by thunderstorms in several districts of the state within the next three hours. He announced that a red alert has been issued for Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Anakapalli, and Kakinada districts.

He further stated that moderate to heavy rains are likely in the red alert districts, while a yellow alert has been issued for East Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, and Bapatla districts, where light rains with lightning are expected. Officials have advised people to avoid taking shelter under trees, stay away from electric poles and hoardings, and remain indoors during thunderstorms.
