

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that India halted Operation Sindoor purely on its own terms following the Pahalgam terror attack, calling it a strategic and voluntary decision. Speaking at the National Security Summit 2.0, he emphasized that the operation was not stopped due to any limitations but was concluded at the right time as per India’s objectives. He also highlighted the seamless coordination among the Army, Navy, and Air Force, showcasing the strength of India’s armed forces.
Rajnath Singh reiterated that India is fully prepared for a prolonged conflict if required. He strongly condemned terrorism, calling it a stain on humanity and stressing that the fight against it is essential to protect fundamental human values. Targeting Pakistan, he described it as a hub of international terrorism and accused it of continuously supporting such activities, asserting that terrorism must be eradicated completely.
