Russian President Vladimir Putin said that India will not bow to pressure from the United States regarding its relationship with Russia. He criticized Western nations, particularly the United States, for attempting to persuade India to distance itself from Russia, stating that such efforts have not been successful.
Putin expressed confidence that India-Russia ties will remain strong despite external pressure. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, saying India has emerged as one of the world's leading economies. Putin also stated that the goal is to increase bilateral trade between India and Russia to 100 billion dollars in the coming years.
