Pulkit Mani Cancels Noida Show After Indore Mimicry Controversy

Stand-up comedian and digital creator Pulkit Mani has cancelled his scheduled Noida comedy show, shortly after his appearance at the ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ programme in Indore on September 19. Mani performed a mimicry act involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi while sharing the stage with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. A video of the performance circulated widely on social media and led to criticism from BJP leaders and supporters.

Mani later informed his followers that the Noida show had been cancelled because of “unforeseen circumstances” and apologised for the inconvenience. According to reports citing the event organiser, Mani had referred to health concerns when communicating the cancellation. The exact reason has not been independently established, and speculation on social media has linked the development to the controversy surrounding his Indore performance. Mani also posted an Instagram story saying it was “time to go underground,” adding to the online discussion.
