PIL Filed in AP High Court Over Raptadu Incident

A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court over the incident reported in Raptadu, Anantapur district, involving police firing at accused Hemanth. Hearing the petition, the High Court directed the police to submit a comprehensive report on the incident. The bench also sought details about the health condition of the minor girl involved in the case.

Advocate Salmon Raju, appearing on behalf of accused Hemanth, presented arguments before the court. The petitioner expressed concern over negative reports about him appearing in the media and on social media platforms. He requested the High Court to issue directions preventing a media trial in the matter.
