A grand swearing-in ceremony of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) executive committee was held at the party’s central office in Mangalagiri. Nara Lokesh took oath as the National Working President, while party chief and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu administered the oath to Lokesh and other members. The newly constituted executive committee includes 252 members, reflecting an expanded leadership structure. Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh, and other leaders paid tribute to the statue of party founder N.T. Rama Rao.
The event witnessed a massive turnout of party leaders and workers, turning the party office into a vibrant hub. Addressing the gathering, Chandrababu Naidu stressed that TDP is a cadre-driven party and said the new team would bring renewed energy. He cautioned leaders that people are closely watching their actions and warned against ego-driven politics and internal conflicts. He emphasized discipline, unity within the NDA alliance, and responsible behavior, stating that any misconduct by party workers could damage both the government’s and the party’s reputation.
