Lightning Warning for North Andhra Districts for the Next Three Hours

A lightning warning has been issued for the North Andhra districts for the next three hours, with authorities advising residents to remain alert. An orange alert has been issued for Vizianagaram, Alluri Sitharama Raju, Anakapalli, Kakinada and Visakhapatnam districts.

Moderate rainfall accompanied by lightning is expected in some areas of these districts. Gusty winds with speeds of around 40–60 kmph may also occur during the period. Disaster Management Authority Managing Director Prakhar Jain urged people to exercise caution and follow safety precautions during the adverse weather.
