Leopard Spotted on Tirumala Alipiri Footpath

A reported leopard sighting on the Alipiri footpath leading to Tirumala has caused panic among devotees. According to devotees, the leopard was spotted near a mandapam after the seventh mile, in the vicinity of the Narasimhaswamy Temple, at around 3 pm two days ago. The sighting reportedly prompted some devotees on the footpath to turn back due to fear.

After receiving information about the leopard's movement, TTD vigilance personnel stepped up their monitoring along the route. As a precautionary measure, devotees are currently being allowed to proceed along the footpath in groups. Officials have also increased surveillance in the area and advised devotees to remain alert while using the walking route.
